Fletching 2nd XI beat Wadhurst 2nd XI
Returning all-rounder JJ Ticehurst took 4-39 as Fletching secured a comfortable 124-run win over Wadhurst. Rob Atkin was also back for the 2nds and top scored with an unbeaten 58 as Fletching posted a challenging total of 220 for 6 from 49 overs. With skipper Ali Horscroft smashing a quick fire 36 from just 22 balls Fletching were able to enjoy another wonderful tea.
In reply Wadhurst soon found themselves under pressure and wickets tumbled regularly throughout the innings. Ali Horscroft took 3-2 from his 2 overs and in the process wrapped up Fletching’s first win of the season.
